In order for an organisation to develop its staff appropriately you first need to identify what training or development is required by completing a Training Need Analysis.
The analysis of learning and development needs is a continuous process. It is the responsibility of line management, but the trainer may well have to become involved. The Training Need Analysis need not be complicated but it is a process that should take place on a regular ongoing basis. Based on the results of the Training Need Analysis the right learning and development interventions can be identified, designed and developed.
